Plans and billing
The free trial, Starter and Pro paid by card monthly or yearly, invoices and tax, failed payments, cancelling, and Enterprise.
Every organization starts on a 7 day free trial. Starter and Pro are chosen in the product and paid by card through Stripe, monthly or yearly. Enterprise is agreed with us and invoiced.

Paid yearly, a plan costs ten months: two months free. Every plan is a fixed price, never a percentage of your bill. The pricing page compares everything each plan includes.
Choose a plan
Owners and billing members choose the plan, in Settings, Plan and usage:
- Choose Monthly or Yearly, then Choose Starter or Choose Pro.
- Stripe's checkout opens. Enter the card, the billing address and, if you have one, your company's tax ID.
- Back in CostReveal, the plan applies as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, usually within moments.
Tax is calculated by Stripe and added where it applies, and every invoice carries your tax ID. Card details are entered on Stripe and never reach CostReveal.
A plan that is smaller than what the organization already uses cannot be chosen: CostReveal says what does not fit, such as more projects than the plan includes.
Manage billing
Once subscribed, Manage billing opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can:
- switch between Starter and Pro, or between monthly and yearly, with the difference prorated;
- change the card, the billing address or the tax ID;
- download every invoice and receipt;
- cancel.
A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period already paid for.
When a payment fails
The plan stays in place while Stripe retries the payment over the following days, and owners and billing members are emailed. Plan and usage says a payment did not go through. Update the card in Manage billing so the next attempt succeeds.
When a trial or a subscription ends
Nothing is deleted. Every figure stays readable, and reading providers and new connections pause until a plan is chosen. A banner on every page says when access ended, and Plan and usage offers the plans again.
Enterprise
Enterprise covers any amount of spend, unlimited projects, connections and seats, SAML single sign on, a year of audit log, and a Data Processing Agreement with security review support. It is billed by invoice, monthly or yearly, on the terms of your order. To set it up, book a demo.
